Having always “doodled” with pencil on paper, I find a natural affinity for the complexities of line and tone, creating fields of texture and imagery, suggesting a micro or macro perception of space, imbued with layers of possible imagery.

The effects of black graphite on white paper continually challenge me as an artist to explore the artificial world of colourless composition.
